Samsung Series 7 Slate–Artists Perspective

Mobile digital artists ask us about Wacom Active Digitizer tablet PCs quite a lot. For a digital artist – in fact for builders, engineers, sales reps, CEOs, doctors, nurses, students and anyone who uses a ball point pen – the Wacom interface is like a carpenter’s hammer. It’s essential to have one, and smart trades people only have the best!

Many digital artists have used a Wacom Active Digitizer Pen before, so they know how wildly different they are to the poor experience of a capacitive stylus on a touch only tablet like an iPad or most Android tablets.

Of course there are even some cheap Windows Tablets like the Acer Iconia W500/501 that also lack the Wacom Active Digitizer that we consider to be essential for advanced productivity. Keep an eye out and avoid those!

So it was interesting to come across the video below from a digital artist giving his perspective on the Samsung Series 7 Slate which of course features the Wacom Active Digitizer.
