Here is a close up look at the new Fujitsu Lifebook T904 side by side with its predecessor -the T902.
Fujitsu seems to have put the last model T902 on a bit of a diet to produce the T904. The Lifebook T904 now carries the Intel Ultrabook brand and it weighs in at 1.6kg, down from the T902’s 1.9kg.
The T904 is still Fujitsu’s high end convertible tablet with Intel Core i7 and i5 processors on offer. 8Gb RAM and 256Gb SSD is standard on the models that we stock.
The T904 is a lot slimmer while retaining the 13.3” screen. As you can see in the pictures below the screen is now much more glossy. Resolution has been beefed up to a fine “3K” at 2560×1440.
Importantly, the T904 still uses the good ol’ Wacom digitizer pen (docked in on the right hand side base). The pen has a new shorter, slimmer, square shape and loses the second right click button and eraser.
There is no multi-bay expansion on the new T904 to save on space, but the battery is still removable. With the new fourth generation “Haswell” processors on board, you may not need an additional battery anyway.
I can’t remember the last time that I used an optical disk, so I guess not many will miss that feature too…
The charger is the same as the last series, meaning that you can use our Targus car charger straight out of the box too.
