What is a Microsoft MVP?
A Microsoft Most Valuable Professional, or MVP, is basically a tech whiz. Someone who is on top of the latest technology, cutting edge software and top of the range programs. Think of them like the ‘know-it-alls’ of the tech world – without the snooty attitude. They don’t keep their knowledge to themselves. Quite the opposite! They strive to share their knowledge with all those willing to learn. MVPs make up a group of 4,000 people worldwide across 90 countries.
What is an MVP Award?
Microsoft’s way of honoring technology experts and saying thank you for their contribution to the community. This award recognizes an individual for their outstanding knowledge in a particular field, as well as their passionate impact on their community.
We are very proud to announce that one of our Tablet PC directors, Mathew Gilbertson, has received such recognition as a Microsoft OneNote MVP! We don’t mean to brag, but Tablet PC now houses two Microsoft MVPs. Mat joins the ranks with Tablet PC’s other director Brett Gilbertson who has been recognised as a Microsoft MVP for the past six years (and counting).
